E-commerce and the Future of Internet Marketing-Internet

Xtream Global Marketing Offers everyone the chance to Learn Internet Marketing at Home at their own pace.

The Internet as we know it today.
It may be hard to believe, but the Internet as we know it is just over 10 years old. Given this basic fact, what is the future of online marketing?

E-commerce has grown by leaps and bounds and continues to set new marks every year. As comfortable as you and I might be using the Internet, it is really only in its infancy. As huge as Google is, it was only created in 1998. My, how far we have come!

As the Internet continues to grow, the future of online marketing is a much discussed subject. There is little doubt the future is bright. As more people join up with digital revolution, e-commerce continues to grow. Still, one can’t help but acknowledge Internet users are becoming more sophisticated, particularly as a younger generation moves into adulthood. For more details visit to www.mrx-interview.com .Online marketing is currently a bit of a mess. Remnants of the old, such as banner ads and email marketing, are clearly one their way out. Banner ads produce horrific click through rates because people are wary of getting stuck on a site they can’t get away from. Email marketing is tainted by problems such as spam, phishing scams and identity theft concerns. Personally, I delete all email that isn’t from a person I know or coded to show me an inquiry directly off Marketing Titan for a consultation. It is just too risky.

The dominant models now are pay-per-click advertising and search engine optimization. Search engine optimization will be around as long as people use search engines. The promise of free traffic is simply too glorious to ignore. Since it is fairly difficult to commit fraud in search engine optimization, it is difficult to see any future legal issues threatening it.

Pay-per-click advertising “ppc” has a less clear future. The primary problem is click fraud. Click fraud occurs when a ppc ad is artificially. The only intention of the clicker is to cost the advertiser money. For more information logon tom www.the-forum-list.com
Some estimate the percentage of fraudulent clicks on ppc platforms runs as high as forty percent. If true, this theoretically means you could take forty percent of your advertising budget, use it as toilet paper and get the same sales results. Pretty scary, eh?

So, what is the future of online marketing in light of the above comments? In my personal view, search engine optimization will remain the dominant online marketing method. PPC will also continue, but will be modified into something used to conquer click fraud. I also think information publishing in the form of free copyright articles will become more and more dominant.

Combined, these three platforms represent the future of online marketing. Of course, nobody could have foreseen the explosion of EBay ten years ago, so we may all be surprised by where things stand in five or ten years. Please browse for more information at our websites.

Why Use Traffic Exchanges

What are traffic exchanges and why use them ?

Traffic exchanges are internet advertising venues that send hits, or traffic, to your websites. They are a link marketing as well as traffic generating tool. They are double opt-in membership venues where members view or surf other members' websites. There are two kinds of Traffic Exchanges: Auto Surf Traffic Exchanges and Manual Traffic Exchanges.

Auto Surf traffic exchanges:

No clicking is required with auto surf traffic exchanges. You simply load the surfbar up in a browser and let it run. Auto Surf traffic exchange to start with

Manual Surf traffic exchanges:
Manual surf traffic exchanges are sometimes referred to as click sites. A member must click on something to move from website to website. Because of this, members are more likely to actually view or see your website.
Manual Surf Traffic Exchange to start with:

Combination Auto surf and manual surf:
Some traffic exchanges offer both types of surfing. Get started with:

Further Notes on Traffic Exchanges:
Most exchanges offer text ads or hotlinks as well as banner advertising inaddition to the traffic itself. Many run contests for the surfers as well. Most have a free membership with upgrades available to the members. These are not walk away from advertising venues - free or paid, members do need to surf. Whether you manual surf, auto surf or both - surfing is what makes these venues work for everyone. Each type of surf has its advantages and disadvantages:

Manual Surf Traffic Exchanges:
Besides getting your site in front of the members of an exchange where they will SEE your website, everytime a site enters the surf window, that counts as a hit as far as the search engines are concerned. This is called traffic.

When a member then clicks on YOUR website, you get another registered hit. The strength in this venue is that members of an exchange actually 'sees' your site for a brief period of time. They will not be able to watch a movie or sign up however, so if they want to do that, the member will need to open the site in a new window.

The downside to manual surf is you really don't get enough hits to count in the search engines. For high quantities of hits, use Auto Surf sites.

Auto surf traffic exchanges:
These are fantastic internet advertising specialties and venues for sending hits or traffic to your websites. Traffic helps boost search engine ranking. Like the manual surf sites, each time a site loads into the surf window, a hit is registered to the site which the engines count. Unlike Manual surf sites, no clicking is required - the script does that for you automatically. When it comes to HITS, nothing beats a well surfed auto surf exchange. There are some downsides to this marketing venue:

Members of auto surf exchanges surf to send hits to their websites, not to view sites:
Members tend to surf several venues at once, that way getting maximum benefits from many traffic exchanges. They are looking for numbers of hits to their websites, not viewers. They themselves surf, but do not stayed glued to the surf window...they wander off, multi-task and etc. It is rather like turning your tv or radio on for backround noise or company. They may, or may not, be paying full attention. As in watching TV in bed, they may even fall asleep while surfing! All this is fine as what everyone is looking for in these venues are HITS to the websites. For views, people viewing your site, use a manual traffic exchange.

Auto surf exchanges are geared for fast loading pages without audio or video:
Because most auto surf sites are on fast timers - 10 seconds and under, sites heavy with graphics, audio and video do not do well on these venues as they load too slowly. Many auto surf sites do not allow audio or video as well. For these venues, you want to use splash pages, and then splash pages which are fast to load, light on images and without self launching audio or video. You point your SPLASH PAGE to your workdigital sign up page and your movie. Now, two things start to happen:

1. You start building your presence in the Search Engines!
You have a page that can run on Auto Surf sites. When viewers are interested, they simply take the site to a new window and go from there. They click on your link to go to your Movie Website, the rest flows from that point.

2. You start building your presence in the Search Engines!
Millions of people do a search on some engine - like Google for example - everyday. You want to be found in that search. Most engines will not index your affiliate link. There are a few exceptions to that rule, but for the most part, your sign up page or movie link will not be found in the engines and no amount of marketing will change that. Once you get your own domain hosted somewhere and start adding pages and content to those pages, the engines will find you, index you, and then you can push your sites up with your marketing.

Find more traffic - both auto surf and manual surf sites - at Building Blocks. Join as a free member then review the links inside your members' area. Blocks has many other venues as well, including safelists, safeadlists, link boards, and ffa sites.

Tip: If you want to get the most out of your traffic, no matter if you use auto surf sites or manual surf sites, use a splash/gateway page, and NOT the affiliate page provided by your program. The best thing you can do is put these pages up on your own domain.
