Opposites Attract, part 2; meet SAL

Last time: Love it or hate it, email and link marketing is an integral part of advertising and promoting on the Internet. In the last article we discussed “mass email marketing.” This is great for getting the word out on your site/ad/opportunity to as wide a reach as possible in a relatively short time.

The opposite is the more intimate, one on one venue you find with sites like SafeAdsList or SAL. You can find a good example here at http://www.impressions-hosting.com/Xtream/ . You can join as a free member and get the upgrade to Pro. Then admin will add a solo and banner ad spot for you. SAL is the exact opposite of “mass marketing” email.

You do not get massive emails sent to your inbox. You do not have to have a huge inbox for your SAL email. Email will consist of your Admin support email (which you want to read to keep up with what is going on with your SAL site) and solo ads - if you elect to receive solo ads. You can choose not to. Frankly, I do and would recommend it as you get more credits for reading those than the daily ads posted to the SAL site. (Which I recommend you read as well.)

The whole concept is simple: log onto SAL, read the dailies (very quick do as the sites zip along when you press “next”.), post your own daily (regular text or html), add your solo ad or banner (found in the “advertisers” section). Boom you are done.

The really nice thing about SAL is you can develop a real relationship with the owner/admin and possibly the other members! SAL is also being tested by Traffic Hoopla for responsiveness and so far the early returns are positive and thumbs up for our gal SAL!

Once again writing my own bio here - lol. The flagship of my marketing sites is XtreamSurf.com. The Xtream Email Marketing center is XtreamSubmitter. Personal Email marketing is with our XtreamSal. While only involved in “online” business for little over one year, I come to the net with experience in both military and civilian management and organizational experience. I have been involved in starting up a number of offline businesses and hold a Bach. degree in “Mass Communications (emphasis in media and marketing - imagine that!) and in Masters in Business Management. I love the net and all it's potential.

SafeAdlists or SAL as Cherie so fondly calls them!
Every serious marketer on the internet knows that Safelists have now become like a huge vine taking over the net!
This is wonderful news for the BIG safelist hosts who are pushing them out like a Production line.
Because of this the Safelists have suffered over the last few months and Pop up and die like daises EVERY day!
All we want to do is send out our ads we dont do this for the fun of it or because we have nothing better to do with our time we want to earn $$$$$ from our ads or build downlines and gain members for whatever we are selling
Because the Huge vine of safelists is starting to strangle itself we came up with SafeAdlists.
The fact is you HAVE to read ads because as everyone is reading yours YOUR points are diminishing and when that happens YOU wont be able to post your ad!!
We watched the strangling of safelists with a slight sadness the concept of them in the begining was wonderful but now the bouncing email boxes, huge prices for huge mailboxes, MAILBOX CLEANERS which should never have been created in my opinion have all contributed to the safelists unresponsivness.
What started out to be a wonderful way of sending Spam free ads has now become a big expense, unresponsive and the only ones gaining anything from them is the safelist hosts!
I hear what you are saying "well arent you going to do the same with SafeAdlists" the answer to that one is simple NO! we couldnt even if we wanted to because you cannot get away from the fact that you have to read others ads, if you cannot be bothered to log in and do this then you are the ones that set the mailbox cleaners and would never have read our ads anyway!
